Procurement Manager The Procurement Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day activities that include assisting Buyers with creating and processing Purchase Orders (POs) Facilitate change requests and change orders for POs.
Review POs to ensure proper coding and compliance with company policies, controls, and procedures.
Developing outstanding receivables reports for all products and work with receiving on a daily receiving report.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills Strong analytical thinking and critical thinking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred Duties and
Responsibilities:
Keep accurate records of all purchases made.
Generate and monitor purchasing reports.
Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings.
Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company.
