Material Handling Team Manager
An employer is looking for Material Handling Team Manager within the Production Control departmentThis individual will oversee a team of nine supervisors who will lead teams of Material Handling Engineers and Logistics EngineersThe focus of this Material Handling Team Manager is to Direct and control the management of production and non-production materials from the loading/unloading receiving/shipping docks, shipping/receiving CMMS transactions, synchronous material flow, marketplace management, container management, and industrial materialYou will be providing the direction and support to the supervisor team filtering through to the Material Handling personnel for operationsIt will be a priority to support the greenfield production system principles through synchronous material flow and lean manufacturing implementationsThis is an onsite role located in Glendale, KY which is in support of the newest and largest battery manufacturer in North AmericaThere will be slight travel required to surrounding areas such as GA, TN, and Louisville, KY- Ability to work within all applications of the MS Suite (Excel, Tableau)- Specifically knowledge around Computer Automated Design (CAD)- Experience with SMART, a material replenishment system- Local to Glendale, KY- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or Material Planning and Logistics- Professional experience working within an OEM with career progression willing to take the next steps in their leadership career- Professional experiece analyzing daily cost performance within a manufacturing capacity- Professional experience conducting reviews for all departments throughout the material handling process focusing on continuous improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, maintenance, environment, and launcho Ex:
