The State Group is seeking a Project Controls Manager to work on a 3-4 year, $500M project with Blue Oval Battery Park in Glendale, Kentucky with continued opportunities at the conclusion of the project.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide direction in cost analysis and control, ensuring accurate and comprehensive cost estimates are developed and maintained.
Responsible for developing, executing, and managing all aspects of a project control plan, including resolution of challenges and contingencies.
Oversees the planning, scheduling, cost engineering, cost analysis, and control activities.
Direct schedule development and maintenance, monitoring and identifying potential impacts, and developing recovery plans.
Direct project and program cost forecasting and supports organizational and administrative activities.
Prepare, coordinate, and present updates to the management team and customer as required.
Prepare the project control plan and leads project control activities such as planning, schedule development, change management, forecasting, cost, trends, and claims.
Provide leadership and guidance for the analysis of cost & planning efforts and reports.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in directing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, control, and analysis, and planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
3
years of direct experience working with estimators, planners, and management teams.
Skilled in oral and written communication, with a demonstrated ability to present Project Control's information to management/client.
Demonstrated skill at identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.
Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.
Demonstrated expertise in delivery, communication, and training of risk processes and procedures.
Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning & cost engineering functions, which include planning reports, cost control, and cost analysis.
Knowledge of capital cost and project estimating.
Demonstrated skill at identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost problems.
Effective communication, leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
